These terms apply to your use of agedcarebookings.com.au and our enquiry and introduction service ("Service"). The Service is operated by Financier Capital Group Pty Ltd ABN 19 149 923 151 trading as Aged Care Bookings ("we", "us"). By using the website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.

1. What the Service is

We take your enquiry about a permanent or respite place in an aged care home, check availability with partner aged care homes in or near the area you tell us, and put you in touch with homes that report having room. The Service is free for you.

2. What the Service is not

We're not an aged care provider, a registered provider under aged care law or a government service. We don't provide care, assess care needs or eligibility, give care, financial or legal guidance, tell you which home to choose, negotiate on your behalf, or act as your representative or supporter. Any decision about aged care is yours, together with the home and anyone you choose to help you.

3. No guarantee of a place

Availability information comes from partner homes and can change at any time. We don't guarantee that a place will be offered, that it suits your needs, or its price or start date. Each home makes its own decisions and sets its own fees and agreements with you.

4. Partner homes and payments

We only contact partner homes, which may not include every home in your area. Partner homes pay us a fee for introductions, and we'll tell you which homes received your enquiry. See How we're paid.

5. Your information

You must give accurate information and only share details about another person if you're authorised to do so (for example, they've agreed or you're their representative). We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy.

6. Homes are separate businesses

Partner homes are separate businesses. Any agreement for care is between you (or the person needing care) and the home. We aren't responsible for a home's services, fees, conduct or decisions.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from a home's services or decisions, or from availability information supplied by a home.

8. Website use

Don't misuse the website, submit false enquiries, or try to interfere with its operation. Website content is general information only. Links to other sites, such as My Aged Care, are provided for convenience.

9. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
